Friend, that hand that you see is the hand of Jesus reaching out from the throne of God asking you to reach out to him, take his hand , and trust him. He not only wants to be your friend, but have a relationship with you. That’s right, you can have a relationship with God. You can talk to him just like you would with any other person. He does not care what you have done, He wants to call you brother.  God created man so that he could have fellowship, or hang out, with him. Genesis 3:8 says that God would walk in the garden of Eden in the cool of the day and talk with Adam and Eve. But when man disobeyed God, all that changed. And ever since God has wanted to reconcile with us.  The bible says in John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and  Word was with God, and the Word was God.” And then in verse 14: “And the Word was made flesh,  full of grace and truth.” This same Word was Christ. And He became a man with just one purpose, and that was , to give his life for a ransom, or sacrifice, for our sins. He became sin, sickness and disease,  just so we could have eternal life and talk to God.  Do you know that God cries? Jer. 9:1 - 3 tell us that God weeps because his children do not know him and have become treacherous and adulterers and go from evil to evil. The bible also says that when a soul is saved that the angels in Heaven rejoice and dance. If you are tired of the way you are living, or are having problems and don’t know where to turn, there is hope. And his name is Jesus Christ. You might be saying, “Yeah, but I would have to quit having fun or give up everything that I like to do.” Let me tell you, living for Christ is the most fun that I have ever had. Christ does not take your old body and put on new clothes, He takes your old clothes and puts a new body in them, complete with a new heart and mind. Christ gives you a new body, mind and heart, and his blood has washed out your sins from the book of judgement and writes your name in the Lambs book of Life. Those old clothes represent your old habits, desires. It is up to you to cast off those things and make changes that reflect a new man in Christ.

Whether you  have never known Christ, or have served Him before and walked away and want to return to His ways, Would accept him now. Jesus said, “ Whosoever believes in Him, should not perish,  but have eternal life,” John 3: 15. Romans 10:9 - 10 says, “ That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe with your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Verse 11 says “ Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.”

Just say this prayer and believe it with your heart. “Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. I reject Satan and all his ways. I surrender my life to you right now. I believe that you died on the cross, and rose again. I accept you now as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for forgiving me. Your shed blood has washed my sins white as snow and my name is now written in the Book of Life and that my sins will be remembered no more , according to your Word. In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen.”

Your friends may think that you are nuts but then who cares. Obey God’s Word and make up your mind to live a righteous life. It won’t be easy. Jesus did not say that if you followed him that life would be all fun and games. But rejoice when trouble does come because Satan will do everything that he can to get you back. Let me be the first to welcome you into the family of God. You are now a Son of God and a joint heir with Christ.
